Tyres4U Environmental Policies

It is a Tyres4U objective to use this environment management system to implement cleaner business practices to protect the environment from harm.

We intend to demonstrate leadership in our approach to environmental management and continually improve our control over the activities that may create pollution and environmental risks.

We will fulfill these objectives by indentifying and implementing appropriate responses to legislated requirements. I.E. ISO14001 Environmental Management System accredation.

This will guide and inform our efforts to:

  • Commit our business to comply with the Environment Protection Act and other relevent legislation.
  • Minimise any adverse affect our business has on the environment.
  • Prevent the pollution of land, air and water.
  • Encourage staff to contribute, cooperate and participate in all environment related matters.
  • Provide training and information to staff and customers to allow them to use our products, services and equipment with minimal environmental effect.
  • Minimise our use of all natural resources including raw materials, all forms of energy and water.
  • Re-use and recycle all materials and natural resources, including water, where practical.
  • Take practical and reasonable precautions to identify, assess and control risks to the environment.
  • Provide and maintain procedures and work practices that are consistent with industry standards for good environmental management.
  • Set, review and monitor our targets and actions.
  • Continually improve our ability to protect the environment from the possible consequences of our business activities.

To ensure the effectiveness of this Policy and the entire Environment Management System, staff are encouraged to report all environmental and health hazards and risks to management.
